Tomatillos & Nopalitos















Sun golds, dry farmed & tomatillos from yesterday's Ferry Building market. Was such a great day wanted to go downtown instead of my usual Alemeny.














It's still pepper season so made relish of assorted peppers, meyer lemons & shallots.














Lunch today was refried anasazi with my pepper relish & a side of tomatillo, nopalito & sun gold quick pickle in a mirin balsamic combo. Sounds overblown, I know, but the two vinegars balance out nicely - especially with the tomatillos.
